TOP STORYMan in drag arrested on forgery charges(8/27/2005) — When it came to taking on a different identity, Diangelo Wooden seemed like a natural. Maybe because he had so much practice faking it. People at his Southside apartment complex knew him as Lisa Williams, a tall, slender Mississippi woman. Store owners who police said he scammed knew him as Kym, Krista and Shanika, as he used counterfeit checks verified with phony driver's licenses from states across the South. A federal grand jury indicted Wooden this week, and he is being held without bail in the Duval County jail.
